The Corinium Players Guitar Ensemble are a classical guitar group from Cirencester,Gloucestershire, UK with over 50 players.
We were established in Cirencester in 1999 by Sandra Dukes, to create an opportunity for classical guitarists to develop their musical skills and perform as an ensemble. The Ensemble today comprises a junior, intermediate and senior section who also combine into a unique Guitar Orchestra.
There is also an adult group which is proving very popular with guitarists of all standards coming from all over the county.

Our players rehearsed in the Weston Gallery at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama for their performance on Saturday. The rehearsal and performance was made even more exciting as the Weston Gallery has walls draped in many paintings, all of which belonged to the world famous classical guitarist Julian Bream. I once had a Fez( darker colour red) after passing through the channel in Egypt and having a stop in Cairo in 1954. But I didn't play the guitar then. I would rather have had a guitar if I I could make a choice for me ( 6 years). Nice playing guys Funny looking. I like them.
